Browns Point UMC
open your heart to god
Our 9:00 worship service is a more traditional service featuring our choir and a time for children. We also try to sing what we like to call “familiar hymns.”

Our 10:30 worship is designed to be a kid friendly service, as it emphasizes movement and using all of our senses. Many adults find it very engaging as well. Age-level classes for children are offered at this time

If you’re thinking of dropping in this Sunday you might want to know a few things about us. Things are pretty casual around here. We’ve been known to wear jeans and shorts to worship (including our pastor, who’s even wear overalls when it fits the theme of his sermon.)

Speaking of our pastor, he is light-hearted and likes to engage the congregation in worship. He loves having children in worship and is unapologetically inclusive. We don’t usually start right on time and we’ve been known to worship longer than the standard one hour. We tend to be a very friendly bunch, so don’t let that scare you. It’s just our way of practicing Christian hospitality.

If this sounds like the place for you, then join us this week and don’t be surprised if it feels like coming home.
